SMG/s Maintenance-Free cyclic, GEL cell.
The SMG/S with tubular die casted positive grid is designed for high cyclic applications combined with renewable energy sources. The batteries are maintenance-free and combine the benefits of a gelled electrolyte which provides a wider temperature operating range.
The SMG/S range is made up of 2V cells designed with GEL technology based on an OPzV standard. Batteries are constructed to provide the optimum levels of robustness and are designed for applications where charge-discharge cycles are required. Inside, separators have extremely high porosity which allows frequent cyclic usage. An ABS flame retardant case is classified to UL94 V0 with LOI >28% is also available on request.
The range is maintenance-free with a low self-discharge making the battery an ideal solution for periods when batteries may be stored or for off-float charge. The SMG/S range can be installed horizontally in dedicated racks which save installation valuable space and is eco-friendly with all components fully recyclable at the end of life.
